Senior QA Engineer, Compliance & Release - Wild Rift

- Own the release QA process from submission readiness through first-party certification and launch testing.
- Drive compliance testing implementation with the partner FQA team, including age rating, EULA, and regional compliance requirements.
- Define platform testing, compliance, and regression best practices across builds.
- Align test plans with platform certification requirements and live player needs.
- Act as the QA expert for first-party platforms and their submission processes.
- Establish and track release quality metrics and support data-informed decisions.
- Lead and mentor QA engineers, including reviewing test suites and monitoring execution.
- Coordinate external testing vendors and ensure their output meets Riot’s quality standards.
- Improve asset and build delivery pipelines to support smooth QA execution.
- Represent the player perspective in product readiness discussions and communicate quality risks to leadership and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software or game QA experience with multiple live-environment product launches.
- Experience with platform compliance and certification submissions, including domestic publishing policies and Apple/Google submission guidelines.
- Experience monitoring post-launch metrics such as Crash Rate, ANR, and Update Failure Rate to identify production root causes.
- Deep involvement in automating game packaging, incremental resource updates, build generation, and mobile build pipelines.
- Deep understanding of game hot-update mechanisms and associated risks.
- Ability to coach junior QA teammates, influence across teams, own vendor relationships, and deliver through external partners.
- Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English.
- Preferred experience includes QA across mobile, console, and PC platforms and exposure to age ratings, first-party submissions, and regional compliance.
- Preferred certifications include ISTQB Foundation Level, ISTQB Agile Tester, ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST), ISTQB Expert Level, ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, or ICAgile Test Expert (ICE-AT).
