Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mid-to-large-scale Oracle Cloud software development and implementation projects.
- Provide technical development leadership, architecture guidance, and thought leadership for Oracle Cloud projects.
- Design, develop, integrate, and extend Oracle Cloud SaaS applications using Oracle PaaS services.
- Gather and analyze business and infrastructure requirements and determine appropriate technical solutions.
- Create proof-of-concept prototypes, implementation models, technology roadmaps, and development timelines.
- Monitor implementations to ensure architecture, design, availability, scalability, performance, and security objectives are met.
- Develop customized applications, customer-facing interfaces, databases, and Oracle Cloud reports.
- Administer users and user groups and allocate required permissions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders and collaborate with project managers and business owners.
- Coach and mentor Cloud Technical team members and manage multiple projects for different clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of technical consulting experience in IT or a related field, including 8+ years of Oracle ERP implementation experience.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud SaaS technical development and Oracle PaaS, especially Oracle Integration Cloud, Java Cloud Service, and Database Cloud Service.
- Experience developing integrations with Oracle Middleware solutions such as SOA Suite and Fusion Middleware.
- Experience extending Oracle SaaS applications with PaaS, including creating custom applications and integrating with Oracle Cloud Applications.
- Experience with Oracle Identity Manager, LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory, identity propagation, and Oracle Cloud SaaS security.
- Solution architect or technical lead experience on at least two full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud or on-premise implementations.
- Expertise with web services and Oracle Cloud SOAP and REST web services.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud data conversion and BI Publisher, FRS, and OTBI reports.
- Functional understanding of Oracle applications and advanced knowledge of programming languages.
- Experience creating and maintaining databases, developing customer-facing interfaces, and working with Agile development technologies.
- Advanced project management skills and experience managing multiple client projects.
- Relevant programming or software development coursework or certifications is beneficial; a master’s degree or PhD in computer science or software engineering is preferred.
