Base Salary
$135k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain physical and MAC layer software for the Starlink communications network.
- Participate in architecting current and next-gen Starlink hardware and signal processing algorithms.
- Engage in hardware bring-up, debugging, verification, and launch.
- Collaborate with teams for cross-layer integration of the end-to-end system.
- Develop prototypes to validate key design concepts and quantify technical constraints.
- Work with other engineers to plan and organize product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline, or 2+ years of professional software engineering experience with C or C++.
- Experience working with wireless software or network protocols.
- Strong knowledge of wireless communications, signal processing, and network protocols is preferred.
- Familiarity with RF systems and fundamentals, including noise figure and link budget.
- Experience with software for RF/mixed-signal integrated circuits and systems.
- Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing algorithms and techniques.
- Experience with lab equipment such as RF spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.
- Creative problem-solving skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment with changing needs.
