Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code, automation, configuration management, and orchestration solutions.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines for software delivery and infrastructure deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, and operations teams on secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions.
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and operational health using observability, logging, alerting, and performance management practices.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, application, and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Implement cloud security practices, vulnerability remediation, and compliance controls.
- Support cloud migration, platform modernization, resiliency, disaster recovery, and operational readiness initiatives.
- Create technical documentation, operational procedures, and reusable engineering patterns.
- Mentor engineers in cloud technologies, automation, DevOps practices, and engineering best practices.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and practices to improve platform capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field with five years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and training.
- In-depth knowledge of information systems and the ability to apply IT best practices.
- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and configuration management tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or comparable platforms.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, or equivalent containerization and orchestration platforms.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Understanding of cloud security, networking, identity management, secrets management, and resiliency concepts.
- Cloud platform or industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, CKA/CKAD, or Terraform Associate are preferred.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
- Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred.
