Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure, shared tooling, frameworks, and reusable engineering capabilities.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and related technologies.
- Build and operate Kubernetes-based platforms using AKS and EKS for containerized applications and engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and improve release automation and deployment reliability.
- Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and other observability solutions.
- Drive improvements in service reliability, operational readiness, standardization, automation, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with product DevOps, Operations, security teams, and other stakeholders on platform adoption and operations.
- Document technical systems and operational runbooks and participate in design reviews.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and lead tooling, framework, and automation initiatives spanning multiple teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of Linux administration experience in hybrid environments.
- Advanced AWS and/or Azure expertise.
- Expert experience with GitLab CI/CD.
- At least 3 years of Terraform module development experience.
- At least 3 years of Docker and Kubernetes experience in production.
- Strong incident response and troubleshooting experience.
- Mentoring and technical leadership experience.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
