Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance, low-latency backend services using Java and AWS.
- Collaborate with product management, frontend, and QA teams on technical requirements and system integration.
- Optimize existing services, resolve system bottlenecks, and improve performance, reliability, maintainability, and resource utilization.
- Implement code quality, testing, deployment, and CI/CD practices.
- Monitor backend service health and performance and mitigate potential issues.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of backend software development experience focused on Java and AWS technologies.
- Strong experience building and operating low-latency, high-scale services in distributed environments.
- Proficiency in Java and its ecosystem and related frameworks.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and ClickHouse.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and security best practices.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Gradle.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, independence, and attention-to-detail skills.
