Responsibilities
- Implement and technically plan scalable mobile product features.
- Develop and support card flows including card ordering, transactions, 3DS authentication, and dispute resolution.
- Write clean, maintainable Android code and advocate for mobile best practices.
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, product, and globally distributed engineering teams.
- Contribute to strategic direction and technical roadmaps for Wise’s spending products.
- Use customer and product data to identify pain points and guide technical decisions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing Android applications.
- Experience building, shipping, and maintaining high-performing Android apps.
- Experience with modern Android UI development using Jetpack Compose.
- Passion for customer experience and data-informed technical decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical peers.
- Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team.
