Base Salary

$900k - $130k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain AI troubleshooting and remediation agents for customer logs, embedded traces, telemetry, crash dumps, and other diagnostic artifacts.
  • Debug complex customer issues involving embedded software, C++, Linux, SONiC, Docker containers, networking, firmware, and platform integration.
  • Design conversational AI workflows for triage, log analysis, root-cause investigation, and corrective-action planning.
  • Implement knowledge retrieval using semantic search, embeddings, vector databases, support cases, documentation, GitHub references, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Develop production-quality Python tools, log-analysis pipelines, diagnostic automation, and AI workflow integrations.
  • Convert recurring issues into reusable AI workflows, remediation playbooks, and support automation while improving prompts, retrieval sources, and output quality.
  • Work with customers and internal engineering teams to gather data, communicate findings, validate corrective actions, and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Practical experience building or applying AI-assisted troubleshooting, remediation, or conversational AI workflows with large language models.
  • Strong hands-on Python skills for production tools, log-analysis pipelines, and AI workflow integrations.
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch and knowledge-retrieval systems involving semantic search, embeddings, and vector databases.
  • Strong log-analysis, root-cause investigation, and hands-on debugging experience in embedded, Linux, SONiC, or Docker environments.
  • Ability to validate AI-generated findings for accuracy and communicate technical findings clearly to customers and internal teams.
  • Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI agent-orchestration frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience with AI observability, agent tracing, prompt evaluation, AI workflow regression testing, or measuring recommendation quality is preferred.
  • Optical communications, telecom equipment, data center infrastructure, transceivers, or related network/platform knowledge is preferred.
