Responsibilities
- Design and implement tools, frameworks, and automation supporting embedded software designers.
- Build and evolve GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines tailored to embedded software development.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve engineering efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and QA teams to streamline end-to-end development workflows.
- Maintain code quality, maintainability, security, documentation, version control, build systems, and release management practices.
- Apply secrets management, code signing, and secure boot considerations throughout build and release pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on embedded build and release experience.
- Strong object-oriented design and implementation skills.
- Strong experience in Linux-based environments and with Make/GNU Make and complex build systems.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions or equivalent.
- Understanding of the embedded Secure Development Life Cycle from design through test and release.
- Knowledge of asymmetric encryption, digital signatures and certificates, and secrets management.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, verbal communication, written communication, and maintainable-code skills.
