Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, performant, and secure Salesforce software solutions.
- Build, review, and maintain Apex classes, Apex triggers, asynchronous Apex, Apex tests, custom APIs, integration processes, Aura components, and Lightning Web Components.
- Configure Salesforce security, access handling, sharing and visibility, data models, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, flows, validation rules, approval processes, and FlexiPages.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, peers, stakeholders, and other functions to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
- Use Git and Salesforce deployment tools, including change sets and sfdx/sf, along with Developer Console and Visual Studio Code.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, technical communities, and continuous improvement while applying secure coding and risk-control practices.
- Provide technical guidance and, where applicable, lead and supervise team members and coordinate team resources.
Requirements
- In-depth technical knowledge and experience in Salesforce development and the underlying principles of the assigned area.
- Strong experience with Salesforce security levels and access handling, sharing and visibility, and data modeling.
- Expertise with Salesforce out-of-the-box features and configurations, particularly Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
- Good expertise building, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality Apex, Aura, and Lightning Web Components using industry best practices.
- Experience with Apex classes, triggers, asynchronous Apex, Apex tests, custom APIs, integration processes, source control, and Salesforce deployments.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, advise stakeholders, solve problems, communicate complex information, and manage risks and controls.
- Experience with Omni Studio, Service Process Studio, Salesforce Knowledge, Financial Service Cloud, or Einstein features and AI in Salesforce is highly valued.
