Base Salary
$104k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation plans for software and materials processing.
- Collaborate with program and engineering management on quality planning and program quality objectives.
- Work with software engineering, systems engineering, and the Engineering Process Group to establish and follow quality standards.
- Assist with verification and validation testing of software and system products.
- Support audits, identify nonconformances, and oversee corrective actions.
- Ensure corrective measures meet quality standards and documentation complies with requirements.
- Assist Software Engineering with collecting and reporting metrics.
Requirements
- Principal level requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or another STEM field plus 5 years of relevant software development and integration experience, or a master’s degree plus 3 years of such experience.
- Sr. Principal level requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or another STEM field plus 8 years of relevant software development and integration experience, or a master’s degree plus 6 years of such experience.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and/or Spiral development processes and software data and metrics collection.
- Active Top Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
- Experience with Bash or Python scripting, Linux, Git, and Microsoft Office.
- Preferred qualifications include software engineering experience, work-plan review, root-cause and corrective-action analysis, software code review, Agile/DevSecOps experience, GitLab, Windows 11, and AS9100 or ISO 9001.
