Responsibilities
- Work with development teams to understand project requirements and system design.
- Define test strategies, approaches, and plans for production release sign-off.
- Create and deliver automated and manual tests for bespoke software solutions.
- Investigate automated test systems and evaluate industry-standard test products.
- Ensure release candidate applications meet global compliance standards.
- Manage testing processes and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Help service operations identify production problems before developer involvement.
- Support change requests and post-deployment verification.
- Collaborate with the domain architect to deliver robust, sustainable solutions aligned with technology strategy.
- Ensure application releases include sufficient documentation for support handover.
Requirements
- Experience or knowledge in fixed income, equity, and capital markets.
- ION or Fidessa experience is good to have.
- Python or Java skills for test automation.
- Knowledge of banking, wealth management, or finance.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
