Responsibilities
- Work with development teams to understand project requirements and system design.
- Define test strategies and approaches for software testing.
- Investigate opportunities for automated test systems and evaluate industry-standard products.
- Ensure release candidate applications meet global compliance standards.
- Manage the testing process and escalate issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with service operations to identify production problems.
- Assist with change requests and post-deployment verification.
- Work closely with domain architects to ensure robust solution delivery.
- Ensure sufficient release documentation for handover to support teams.
Requirements
- Experience in fixed income, equity, and capital markets.
- Familiarity with ION or Fidessa is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
- Background in banking, wealth management, or finance.
- Proficiency in Python or Java for automation testing.
