Base Salary
$58k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features for unmanned aerial systems simulation training software.
- Develop high-performance applications and backend systems supporting advanced sensors and mission systems.
- Fix bugs, perform peer reviews, write tests, analyze technologies and best practices, and collaborate with teammates.
- Contribute to software development process improvements and deliver solutions for defense customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
- Experience with Linux, C#, SCM, and databases.
- Experience with unit tests, code reviews, documentation and writing, communication, networking, scripting, and DevOps/continuous integration and continuous development.
- Preferred experience with Git, Podman or Docker in air-gapped environments, Protobuf, Postgres or SQL, Kubernetes, Helm, and OpenShift.
- Preferred knowledge of containerization, asynchronous development, distributed systems, API design, VM management, and managing databases within a cluster.
