Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE and other object-oriented software for C2BMC Regional Applications.
- Implement features, enhance existing capabilities, and resolve complex software problems in an Agile team environment.
- Translate requirements, Use Cases, and SysML diagrams into maintainable software components.
- Perform analysis, debugging, troubleshooting, configuration, performance optimization, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Develop or modify operating-system-level applications and services for development, integration, and operational environments.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, integration, test, and operations teams to improve system efficiency and reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation including design descriptions, test plans, test results, and user support materials.
- Support user inquiries and sustain fielded missile defense mission capabilities.
- Contribute to team process, tool, quality, resiliency, and delivery improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field plus two years of experience; or a related master's degree plus one year of relevant experience; or six years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Current, active, in-scope Government-issued Secret security clearance is required at application and to start.
- Experience with Java/J2EE or another object-oriented language; additional C++ experience is desired.
- Knowledge of coding standards, peer reviews, automated unit or integration testing, build pipelines, configuration management, and version control.
- Understanding of Use Cases, SysML diagrams, and systems engineering artifacts.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for business needs.
- Preferred qualifications include Agile team experience, Linux-based enterprise application development, Windows experience, DevSecOps or build and release management knowledge, distributed-systems experience, and familiarity with C2BMC, missile defense, command and control, or DoD systems.
- Preferred tools experience includes Maven, Git or GitHub, Nexus, and Eclipse or comparable tools.
