Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, design, and launch innovative products and services.
  • Design and build scalable technologies in a large distributed computing environment.
  • Create solutions for running predictions on distributed systems.
  • Build scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost distributed storage, indexing, and query systems.
  • Define products, secure stakeholder buy-in, and translate vision into measurable experimentation and launch roadmaps.
  • Develop requirements with engineering and applied science teams and drive new projects and initiatives.
  • Deliver high-quality, maintainable software with extensive test coverage.

Requirements

  • Professional, non-internship software development experience is required.
  • Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling, is required.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
  • Full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations, is preferred.
