Responsibilities
- Design and build RESTful APIs and .NET services integrating a partner-facing portal with internal loan systems.
- Implement business logic according to API contracts and business rules.
- Build and consume asynchronous, event-driven, message- and queue-based integrations.
- Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot defects across development, QA, UAT, and production.
- Deploy and operate containerized services on Azure using GitLab CI pipelines.
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst and Software Architect to clarify requirements and edge cases.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience with .NET and C#, including independent ownership of complex features end to end.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Functions, and Service Bus, or equivalent.
- Experience with Docker-based containerized deployments.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI or equivalent.
- Familiarity with automated unit and integration testing frameworks.
- Good English communication skills at B2+ level for daily collaboration with a US-based team.
- Preferred experience with OAuth 2.0 and bearer-token security patterns.
- Preferred experience with event-driven or asynchronous architectures, including Service Bus and pub/sub.
- Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial services is preferred.
- Experience integrating with legacy or mainframe systems through APIs is preferred.
