Responsibilities
- Lead technically and functionally the branch-office domain within the Retail Engineering division.
- Ensure the evolution, stability, and innovation of technology solutions supporting the branch network and CRM.
- Guide technical development teams and promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
- Understand internal customer needs and translate them into high-value technology solutions.
- Design business-oriented solutions and manage requirements and relationships with internal customers.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical problems.
- Provide technical leadership across the BBVA technology ecosystem.
Requirements
- Professional degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.
- Postgraduate studies in Software Architecture, Software Engineering, Project Management, Digital Transformation, or a related area; a master’s degree is desirable.
- More than five years of professional experience in software development and technical leadership.
- Experience leading technical teams.
- Experience in the financial or banking sector.
- Knowledge of enterprise software architecture and development, complex problem solving, business-oriented solution design, and internal customer engagement.
- Experience with BBVA ecosystem technologies, especially Host, NACAR, ASO Services, APX, and Cells.
- Desirable knowledge of distributed and service-oriented architectures, DevSecOps, deployment automation, technology project management, change management, application observability and monitoring, and AI applied to software development.
- Strong leadership, communication, customer orientation, analytical and strategic thinking, collaboration, adaptability, initiative, and ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
