Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and implementation of a new backend infrastructure.
- Design secure data pipelines and robust APIs for integration with government and banking systems.
- Guide engineering teams to foster technical excellence and set high coding standards.
- Collaborate with Product, Security, and Legal teams to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Own backend stability and performance tuning for user rollouts.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on large-scale distributed systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Python or Go for building high-throughput, low-latency infrastructure.
- Expertise in domain modeling, microservices architecture, and reliable API development.
- Experience in navigating technical ambiguity and establishing foundational engineering patterns.
- Strong communication skills to partner with various stakeholders and translate complex requirements.
