Base Salary

$219k - $277k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Set the developer experience roadmap and serve as the technical lead and DX point of view for Product, Engineering, and Partnerships without direct reports.
  • Own the SDK code-generation architecture, including the system, templates, and pipeline that produce supported SDK libraries.
  • Define standards for SDK quality, cross-language parity, versioning, release discipline, and observability.
  • Build and maintain the code-generation pipeline, CI, supporting infrastructure, starter repositories, and context for human developers and AI coding agents.
  • Improve developer experience structurally by identifying and eliminating systemic integration friction.
  • Raise engineering quality through code review, reusable patterns, documentation, and pairing.
  • Build resilient documentation, automation, and architecture that the broader team can operate and extend.
  • Provide technical input to Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Partnerships on the developer-facing platform surface and partner ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Track record of owning developer-facing tooling across multiple languages, including libraries, SDK generators, templates, and release automation.
  • Experience building reusable generators, automation, pipelines, or architectures that other engineers adopted and that outlived the original author.
  • Strong systems thinking across SDKs, code generation, partner ecosystems, inputs, outputs, feedback loops, and boundaries.
  • Production ownership experience involving observability, incident response, backward compatibility, and reduction of recurring operational toil.
  • Ability to lead through influence, establish standards, and improve the work of engineers through reviews, patterns, documentation, and pairing.
  • Ability to contribute beyond core tooling to developer content, demos, community work, and developer outcomes such as activation and retention.
  • Hands-on use of AI as infrastructure in development workflows, including agentic pipelines, custom tooling, generators, and disciplined verification.
