Responsibilities
- Build and scale referral platforms, recommendation journeys, onboarding experiences, APIs, and customer reward mechanisms.
- Own projects end to end, independently solve customer problems, and drive work toward measurable goals.
- Collaborate daily with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, engineers, designers, and other product teams.
- Write testable code and apply unit and integration testing strategies.
- Use customer-focused, data-driven decision-making to improve recommendation experiences and address customer pain points.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Java, Kotlin, or another JVM-based language.
- Strong experience with the Spring framework, relational databases, distributed and concurrent systems, and Kafka.
- Experience with testing strategies including unit and integration testing.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Commitment to coding best practices, code reviews, open feedback, team culture, and process improvement.
- Strong product mindset, customer focus, communication skills, and end-to-end ownership.
