Responsibilities
- Build and scale referral platforms, recommendation experiences, onboarding journeys, and reward mechanisms.
- Develop systems, APIs, and product experiences for referred customers worldwide.
- Collaborate daily with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, engineers, designers, and other product teams.
- Apply unit and integration testing strategies and follow strong coding and code-review practices.
- Own projects end to end, work independently on customer problems, and use data to address customer pain points.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Java, Kotlin, or another JVM-based language.
- Strong experience with the Spring framework, relational databases, distributed and concurrent systems, and Kafka.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and broader testing strategies.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong product mindset, customer focus, communication skills, and ability to work independently.
