Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, test, optimize, and operationalize AI and ML models across cloud, edge, and hybrid environments.
- Develop, train, validate, and deploy AI and ML models and integrate them with enterprise and mission systems.
- Design and implement model deployment pipelines and MLOps workflows.
- Implement monitoring frameworks for model drift, performance degradation, and operational issues.
- Analyze datasets, engineer features, evaluate model performance, and support fine-tuning and retraining cycles.
- Assess AI and ML architectures and frameworks and provide technical direction for mission-critical solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, cloud and network architects, and ISSE partners on secure, scalable model infrastructure and data pipelines.
Requirements
- Experience with Python or Rust.
- Experience developing, training, validating, deploying, and optimizing AI and ML models.
- Knowledge of computing, storage, and networking requirements for model training, tuning, and inference.
- Knowledge of model evaluation techniques.
- Ability to implement MLOps workflows, deployment pipelines, and model-monitoring frameworks.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
- A high school diploma or GED plus 6+ years of data science or AI/ML engineering experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years of such experience, is required.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with distributed compute frameworks, mission-focused or national security environments, emerging AI model architectures, and secure AI engineering practices such as adversarial robustness, model governance, or NIST AI RMF.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
