Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and ship features across web and edge-deployed applications using modern frontend frameworks and backend services.
- Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces for factory operators, supervisors, and managers.
- Design backend APIs and services that support both cloud and edge deployment targets.
- Implement offline-capable and low-latency features for edge environments with intermittent connectivity.
- Design systems that tolerate degraded network modes and factory-floor conditions.
- Write comprehensive tests (unit, integration, E2E) and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive user experiences.
- Contribute to shared libraries, component systems, and developer tooling used across Factory OS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the full stack.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience, building and shipping real production software.
- Strong proficiency in a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or Svelte) and TypeScript.
- Backend experience with Node.js, Python, Go, or a similar server-side language.
- Understanding of RESTful and/or GraphQL API design.
- Comfort with relational databases, caching layers, and message queues.
- Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
