Responsibilities
- Own complete product surfaces across interfaces, APIs, data models, and backend services.
- Spend approximately 60% of the role on frontend and API layer work and 40% on backend services.
- Define architecture, ship systems to production, monitor behavior, and fix issues.
- Design intuitive, fast UIs and APIs that make complex system behavior understandable.
- Make independent product and architectural decisions without handed-down design files or detailed specifications.
- Build customer-facing products that remove growth ceilings and are obvious and intuitive to use.
Requirements
- 5 or more years building full-stack applications with shipped production products.
- Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Backend development experience with Python, Go, Node.js, Java, or equivalent.
- Ability to design and implement production-grade APIs and services.
- Full-stack capability, including distributed systems and UI development.
- Experience designing and shipping product surfaces end-to-end without detailed specifications.
- Ability to make independent architectural decisions and own implementation through production.
- Experience with databases and data modeling for systems requiring real-time performance.
- Builder-oriented background and startup-speed execution mindset.
- Bonus experience with knowledge graphs, semantic systems, or graph databases.
- Bonus familiarity with distributed systems, real-time inference, agent-based systems, or developer-facing infrastructure.
