$243k - $295k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical lifecycle and architecture of complex full-stack safety labeling and investigative systems.
- Translate ambiguous operational and product needs into scalable architectures while managing technical debt and platformization goals.
- Define the architectural direction for safety applications and integrate LLMs and agentic workflows into moderation solutions.
- Build shared moderation primitives covering compliance infrastructure, quality assurance, traffic routing, workforce management, and agentic AI labeling.
- Create self-service onboarding pathways for external integrator teams and new safety surfaces.
- Lead cross-organizational, multi-quarter technical initiatives, resolving dependencies and blockers to drive adoption.
- Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, establish engineering best practices, and partner with leadership on technical priorities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Proven ability to design and implement robust, high-throughput distributed systems and microservices handling thousands of requests per second.
- Experience as a full-stack engineer developing complex, production-grade systems across front-end and back-end technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or another technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong commitment to user safety, data integrity, and compliance with safety policies.
- Ability to instrument and analyze user interaction data, usage metrics, and A/B testing results to guide product and design decisions.
- Proficiency across multiple programming languages, frameworks, databases, and cloud platforms, including modern React, Golang, and Python.
- Ability to mentor peers, lead technical work across team boundaries, and drive engineering excellence.
- Interest in building AI-centric solutions using machine learning and agentic AI capabilities.
