Responsibilities
- Build and maintain ML systems using Python, Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch, and Transformers.
- Design reusable, scalable ML cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
- Integrate, test, and monitor ML model services across application systems.
- Consult with internal feature teams on ML tooling and infrastructure decisions.
- Incorporate telemetry to support failure-mode analysis and real-time reliability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Develop infrastructure supporting generative AI, NLP, real-time classification, spam detection, personalization, and ranking applications.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional ML development experience, including designing and implementing ML infrastructure in AWS.
- Mastery of supervised and unsupervised learning concepts and deep understanding of LLMs and NLP.
- Expert-level Python skills and experience with high-scale data processing such as PySpark.
- Experience with Unix/Linux systems and deploying end-to-end real-time applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Benefits
- Base pay ranges from CAD $126,400.00 to CAD $158,000.00 per year, with bonuses potentially available as part of total compensation.
