Base Salary
$108k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate requirements into scalable and robust AGV software solutions.
- Design, develop, test, debug, deploy, and support software for autonomous vehicle systems.
- Develop and maintain software using Delphi and related tools and frameworks.
- Own assigned software modules and ensure their quality, maintainability, and long-term support.
- Investigate software issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement durable solutions.
- Support software productization, releases, deployment, and integration of new mechatronics technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new vehicle development and product improvements.
- Contribute to software development practices and processes that improve product quality and sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in software development or a related role.
- Proficiency in Delphi or similar object-oriented programming languages.
- Understanding of software development principles, practices, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with multithreaded and client-server software architectures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving complex software issues.
- Experience collaborating with internal teams and external customers.
- Preferred experience with AGVs, robotics, automation, material handling, industrial systems, motion control, navigation, or real-time systems.
- Preferred experience developing GUIs or working with industrial communication protocols.
- Preferred experience with JIRA and GitLab.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
