Base Salary

$130k - $220k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Integrate AI/ML components into existing applications, services, and pipelines with a focus on reliability and maintainability.
  • Improve system and model performance across latency, throughput, reliability, and resource efficiency.
  • Design and implement scalable, resilient AI/ML systems that support evolving use cases.
  • Help ensure AI/ML systems meet enterprise expectations for security, compliance, observability, and operational readiness.
  • Support production deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of AI/ML systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver stable AI capabilities and take on increasing ownership and mentorship responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field; a master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant software engineering experience and three to five years of AI/ML experience, including production solution deployments.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar languages and experience with libraries such as TensorFlow and Scikit-learn.
  • Essential experience with RAG.
  • Strong background in statistics, machine learning algorithms, deep learning, neural networks, and system architecture.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, data processing technologies, and MLOps or ML systems engineering practices.
  • Experience with performance tuning, reliability engineering, operational support, containerized or cloud-based deployments, monitoring, model versioning, or rollback strategies.
  • Ability to lead technical projects, work effectively in matrix environments, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with software engineering practices including Git, CI/CD pipelines, agile methodologies, and system design patterns.
