Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement LLM-powered systems for multi-step reasoning, evidence grounding, and decision support in high-trust domains.
- Develop agentic workflows combining retrieval, tool use, structured reasoning, and human oversight.
- Create interactive AI experiences for complex compliance and risk data.
- Build systems that reason over structured and unstructured data for regulatory interpretation, control alignment, and evidence validation.
- Ensure AI outputs are traceable, explainable, and auditable for enterprise customers and auditors.
- Architect and deploy scalable LLM, retrieval, and agent systems in production.
- Optimize AI systems for latency, cost, reliability, and evaluation in enterprise workloads.
- Embed human-in-the-loop workflows, confidence thresholds, safety guardrails, privacy-preserving data handling, robust failure modes, and transparent behavior.
- Establish reusable agentic AI capabilities that support multiple current and future product experiences.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on software engineering experience and at least 2 years specifically in ML/AI engineering.
- Proficiency in Python; TypeScript experience is a plus, especially for production AI integrations.
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Chroma, or FAISS and with RAG system design.
- Proven experience building and shipping production LLM applications involving embeddings, RAG, agent frameworks, prompt engineering, and evaluation.
- A track record of taking AI systems from concept to production and designing scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Ability to decompose complex tasks into agentic workflows and reason over high-stakes structured and unstructured data.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, compliance, security, engineering, and application development teams.
- Compliance, security, risk, or audit experience is a bonus.
- Familiarity with Snowflake-based analytics, knowledge graphs, or enterprise data platforms is a bonus.
- Experience partnering with non-technical compliance or GRC stakeholders is a bonus.
