Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Configure Salesforce declaratively using Flows, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, Assignment Rules, Case Management, Entitlements, and Omnichannel.
  • Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, OAuth, and middleware platforms.
  • Lead technical solution design, Salesforce customization, and implementation activities while following platform best practices and governor limits.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote engineering best practices.
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement scalable solutions.
  • Participate in release planning, CI/CD deployments, and DevOps processes.
  • Create and maintain technical design documentation and implementation artifacts.
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform releases, new features, and Salesforce AI capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of enterprise-level software development experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience across multiple implementation projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and the Salesforce Security Model.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce customization and configuration.
  • Experience building integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and OAuth.
  • Understanding of Salesforce governor limits, security, sharing, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD tools such as Copado.
  • Experience with Salesforce AI, Agentforce, Einstein AI, or generative AI capabilities is desirable.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Experience Cloud Consultant certification is desirable.
  • Experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce, Experience Sites, ERP/SAP/Oracle integrations, JavaScript frameworks, Node.js, event-driven architecture, asynchronous integrations, and Agile/Scrum development is desirable.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, independent-working, and global collaboration skills.

Benefits

  • The role is based in Bangalore, India, with working hours of 12:00 P.M.–9:00 P.M. IST or 2:00 P.M.–11:00 P.M. IST, with occasional shift changes for critical issues or releases/migrations.
  • Employees work from the office for the initial six-month probation period and then transition to a hybrid working model.
