Responsibilities
- Develop clean Python application code for hardware update, testing, and inventory systems.
- Architect React and TypeScript administration interfaces or manage Proxmox clusters, secrets, and automated deployments using Terraform and Ansible.
- Bridge hardware-level data collection with web APIs and higher-level software systems.
- Design and deliver milestones for the next-generation infrastructure architecture.
- Optimize, refactor, and test existing code to maintain stability during long-running hardware validation tests.
- Participate in peer code reviews, technical discussions, and Scrum ceremonies.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience writing structured application code in Python.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean architecture, testing, API design, and robust backend development.
- Professional experience with either React and TypeScript frontend development or DevOps/IaC automation and infrastructure pipelines.
- For the DevOps/IaC track, experience with Ansible, Terraform, virtualized clusters such as Proxmox, GitLab CI/CD workflows, Docker containers, or Kubernetes is relevant.
- Knowledge of Linux systems administration, networking protocols such as VLANs and routing, bare-metal provisioning, Linux image creation, physical hardware labs, or configuration management is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously, collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, solve problems, and learn new technologies.
