Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications, agentic solutions, LLM-powered products, and backend services using Python, TypeScript, and AWS.
- Build scalable end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Databricks, dbt, Apache Spark, and related technologies.
- Design and implement scalable data architectures, data models, governance, data quality, monitoring, and observability for AI and data platforms.
- Design APIs, backend services, workflows, and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data, and Business teams to deliver production-ready, scalable, and reliable solutions and drive technical decisions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience delivering production-grade systems.
- Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
- Experience building cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and modern data engineering practices.
- Experience designing APIs, backend services, workflows, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience developing AI or LLM-powered products in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, governance, and data quality frameworks.
- Experience with dbt transformation pipelines, testing, and data validation.
- Knowledge of Medallion Architecture, Data Vault 2.0, and dimensional modeling.
- Preferred experience with AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, Strands, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
- Preferred background in conversational AI, agent-based systems, and AI platform development.
- Preferred experience with Fivetran, Delta Lake, monitoring, observability, governance solutions, internal developer platforms, low-code solutions, or productivity tooling.
