Base Salary
$185k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Evolve the Design System by developing a centralized, React-based component library.
- Bridge Design and Engineering by translating design visions into interactive web components.
- Empower product engineering by mentoring engineers and driving system adoption.
- Champion Accessibility by implementing strict accessibility standards across components.
- Ensure UI Quality and Performance through automated testing and optimization.
- Drive Documentation and Tooling to maintain excellent usage guidelines.
- Contribute to the Broader Platform by integrating the design system into microfrontend architecture.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience in front-end web development with a focus on UI/UX.
- Expertise in modern web technologies, specifically React, TypeScript, and modern styling solutions.
- Proven track record of building or contributing to design systems and component libraries.
- Deep experience with component-driven development and documentation tools like Storybook.
- Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards (ARIA, WCAG).
- Experience collaborating with designers and understanding design tokens and responsive design.
- Degree in Computer Science, HCI, or a similar technical/design field.
