Responsibilities
- Define and drive the architectural vision for PlayStation iOS app experiences.
- Lead the design and build of UX experiences in Swift and C++.
- Establish standards and best practices with cross-platform teams.
- Apply architectural design patterns to develop reusable code.
- Mentor and coach engineers to foster a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate with UI designers and product managers for high-quality solutions.
- Drive performance optimization and system-level integration for iOS features.
- Contribute to the design of APIs and developer tools.
- Represent the team in architectural forums across the organization.
- Support CI/CD workflows and maintain code quality standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience, with 5 years in iOS native application development.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong expertise in C++ and experience with JavaScript integration.
- Expert knowledge of the Mac landscape and platform features.
- Proven experience designing large-scale, multi-threaded applications.
- Strong background in API and solution design.
- Experience with software architectural patterns like MVC, MVVM, or MVP.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Track record of technical leadership and mentoring.
- Passion for building world-class desktop user experiences.
