Base Salary
$130k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build new developer tools and improve existing ones.
- Implement cloud-based solutions for common actions.
- Enhance the handling of licenses.
- Break down monolithic support tools into manageable components.
- Improve the feature flags system.
- Develop tools that leverage AI for enhanced functionality.
- Contribute to open-source systems utilized by Verkada.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in Python and/or Go programming languages.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and service meshes like Istio is preferred.
- Enthusiasm for learning about new infrastructure products and strategies.
- Comfortable working at the intersection of infrastructure and software development.
