Base Salary
$295k - $345k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the hands-on tech lead for the Safety Foundation team.
- Lead the design and implementation of a scalable, cost-efficient platform.
- Drive the AI-first transformation of the safety platform.
- Build the developer experience layer for integrating safety capabilities.
- Partner with various teams to translate platform needs into infrastructure.
- Define backend standards and raise the technical bar through mentorship.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across systems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building large-scale backend/distributed systems.
- 4+ years of experience as a tech lead, driving execution and growing engineers.
- Deep proficiency in Go or a similar compiled language.
- Experience with NoSQL databases at scale.
- Experience or strong interest in AI/ML platform integration.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
