Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, stable, and scalable software solutions.
- Build and support full-stack and microservices-based applications using back-end and front-end technologies.
- Consider upstream and downstream systems and technical implications when delivering solutions.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Validate AI-generated outputs through peer review, automated testing, secure coding standards, and responsible data handling.
- Analyze diverse data sets to identify problems and support secure, stable application development.
- Work across the Software Development Life Cycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Proficiency with Java, React.js, Angular.js, Spring Boot, microservices, and front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Ability to independently solve design and functionality challenges with minimal supervision and work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, distributed systems, and web technologies.
- Preferred experience with AWS and Copilot.
