Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop methods to confirm that reported vulnerabilities are real and reachable.
- Advance approaches for generating and verifying safe, correct patches.
- Define correctness, regression, behavior-preservation, and revalidation standards with reviewers.
- Apply security research methods to bounded vulnerability classes affecting NVIDIA-internal targets.
- Document analysis and evidence so results can withstand independent security reviews.
- Collaborate with harness and evaluation engineers and help determine which vulnerability classes to address next.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience in security research or software engineering.
- Hands-on vulnerability research, fuzzing, program analysis, or secure development experience in C, C++, or Python.
- Strong judgment regarding fix correctness, safety, regression prevention, and behavior preservation.
- Comfort using AI-assisted tools for analysis and development.
Benefits
- Competitive salary with a base salary range of 224,000 USD–356,500 USD for Level 5 and 272,000 USD–431,250 USD for Level 6.
