Base Salary

$320k - $489k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define the canonical harness architecture and component baseline.
  • Set the engineering standards for the team.
  • Guide the Find, Validate, and Patch technical roadmap.
  • Own the transition from early-stage prototypes to a dependable, reviewable production pipeline.
  • Mentor founding engineers and support their growth.
  • Review designs across the organization and maintain visible code quality and safety standards.
  • Align engineering managers, security partners, engineers, researchers, and evaluation teams on technical direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 18+ years designing and building complex systems.
  • Deep experience architecting distributed systems, ML pipelines, or large-scale platforms.
  • A record of turning research into production-grade engineering.
  • Ability to align engineers and researchers on one technical direction.
