Responsibilities
- Run client SAST, DAST, and SCA tools and provide recommendations based on outputs.
- Implement integrations for security tools into development pipelines and ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with developers to offer secure design guidance and remediation strategies.
- Manage and operate application security tooling, including configuration and automation.
- Maintain familiarity with CI/CD systems and integrate software security tools into workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an Application Security focused position, with prior software development experience preferred.
- Experience with multiple SAST/DAST/SCA Application Security tools such as Checkmarx and Veracode.
- Proficiency in manual testing tools like Burp Suite Pro.
- Experience integrating security tools into development pipelines.
- Strong understanding of application security vulnerabilities and remediation strategies.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, PHP, or C#.
- Knowledge of IDEs and CI/CD tools like Azure Dev Ops and Jenkins.
- Experience with Secure Development Lifecycles and web application scanning tools.
