Responsibilities
- Design and contribute to the architecture of scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud data platform components.
- Translate stakeholder and product requirements into user stories, solution designs, and tested platform implementations.
- Develop reusable components for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution.
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code and automation tools.
- Collaborate with architects, security engineers, control functions, the Chief Data Office, product owners, and other stakeholders to improve compliance, security, and reliability.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in platform engineering, data engineering, or a related field, ideally focused on enterprise data platforms.
- Strong expertise in the modern data stack, particularly Snowflake, and solid data engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code, automation, and orchestration tooling such as Terraform, dbt, and Airflow.
- Very good programming skills in Python and/or Java.
- Experience with Git, JIRA, Artifactory, and GitHub as software development lifecycle tools.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Ability to use AI tools productively while applying critical judgment for responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
