Responsibilities
- Work closely with the development team in an Agile environment to understand functional specifications.
- Independently create comprehensive feature test plans aligned with development milestones.
- Leverage existing automation frameworks to automate feature tests and augment libraries.
- Own the complete test execution cycle for user stories, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Perform a mix of automated, manual, white-box, and black-box testing.
- Create, maintain, and document testbed setups and environments.
- Timely report, track, and update issues and test cases using management tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality benchmarks are met.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Windows/Linux, file systems, and OS-level concepts.
- Solid understanding of threading, multiprocessing, and socket programming.
- Good knowledge of networking and cloud architecture fundamentals, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in Python or Java, with Python preferred.
- Strong Shell scripting ability and hands-on experience with SQL databases.
- Strong experience in REST API testing and backend automation.
- Proficiency with tools like Git, Jira, and XRay.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Understanding of Docker or Kubernetes is desirable.
- Experience with NoSQL systems like MongoDB or Cassandra is a plus.
- Experience testing workloads on AWS/Azure, including resource setup and monitoring.
