Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java applications and libraries.
- Build, debug, and operate distributed systems and evolve messaging protocols and software libraries.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot Java applications and support smooth performance.
- Measure, benchmark, and profile components and systems.
- Apply testing to support correctness and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and pair with team members to ensure maintainable, reusable, high-quality outcomes.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and stay current with Java development trends.
Requirements
- Experience in Java server-side software development.
- Experience designing, building, debugging, and operating distributed systems.
- Experience designing and evolving messaging protocols and software libraries.
- Experience applying testing for software correctness and performance.
- Experience measuring, benchmarking, and profiling components and systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate, share knowledge, and work in a test-driven and Agile development environment.
