Responsibilities
- Develop and execute advanced rendering algorithms and software for real-time ray tracing and global illumination.
- Research, implement, validate, and optimize ReSTIR, path tracing, denoising, sampling, and spatiotemporal resampling techniques.
- Collaborate with GPU architecture, driver, game engineering, graphics research, development, and project management teams.
- Contribute to future rendering architectures, frameworks, and scalable graphics systems.
- Drive rendering technology from algorithm design and prototyping through implementation, optimization, validation, and deployment.
Requirements
- Expert hands-on experience with C and C++.
- Strong understanding of real-time rendering, ray tracing, physically based rendering, Monte Carlo techniques, and global illumination algorithms.
- Experience developing GPU-accelerated algorithms with modern graphics APIs, shader languages, and parallel programming techniques.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, computer architecture, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Linux, modern software development tools and workflows, and profiling, debugging, and optimizing graphics workloads.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, design, and code development skills.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Graphics, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Experience with real-time ray tracing research, ReSTIR-based algorithms, path tracing, sampling techniques, or publication-quality graphics research is a plus.
- Experience using Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex for rendering-related code, especially neural rendering, is a plus.
