Base Salary
$200k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build services and solutions that operate, protect, and govern security posture across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Automate IAM, detection and monitoring, configuration management, and data protection controls across cloud environments.
- Build real-time security monitoring, logging, and alerting using Snowflake technologies.
- Define and maintain public-cloud security baselines, policies, and standards.
- Design and operate AI-augmented pipelines that ingest posture and telemetry data, score risk, and prioritize issues.
- Own security workstreams end to end and provide design reviews, mentorship, and technical guidance.
- Apply software engineering practices including documentation, testing, and observability to security controls.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing and owning secure, large-scale systems with knowledge of secure architecture and threat modeling.
- Experience building software in one or more of Java, C++, Go, or Python.
- Familiarity with distributed architectures and scalable APIs such as gRPC and REST.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience applying AI/ML to security problems and building supporting data pipelines is a bonus.
- Proficiency with SQL for data-driven security operations is a bonus.
- Experience with algorithms and data structures is a bonus.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Pulumi is a bonus.
- Experience designing scalable, concurrent, and resilient services for high-demand, multi-cloud environments is a bonus.
