Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable software solutions based on technical requirements and design artifacts.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, service developers, product owners, and other cross-functional team members.
- Develop automated functional and performance tests for deployment through a continuous-integration pipeline.
- Maintain readable, maintainable code using object-oriented design and packaging principles and track it in GitHub.
- Participate in architectural discussions, iteration planning, feature sizing, and technical solution evaluation.
- Own end-to-end delivery of key features and ensure code quality.
- Follow Mastercard policies and standards for security, accessibility, and privacy.
- Complete required security training and protect the confidentiality and integrity of Mastercard information and systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience with object-oriented programming languages, including Java.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, cloud technologies, and database technologies such as Oracle.
- Experience with continuous-integration and continuous-delivery tools such as Jenkins.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed team.
