Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices and REST APIs in Java with Spring Boot.
- Implement and optimize business logic for performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
- Participate in technical solution design and architecture definition.
- Collaborate on code reviews, refinements, and incident resolution.
- Ensure application observability through logs, metrics, and tracing.
- Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement of services.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and REST APIs.
- Experience with resilience patterns including retry, circuit breaker, fallback, and idempotency.
- Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and software development best practices.
- Knowledge of automated testing with JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
- Spring Cloud experience is valued.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures is valued.
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures is valued.
- Knowledge of observability, SRE, and application monitoring is valued.
- Experience in high-availability environments and critical systems is valued.
