Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the audio team to deliver purpose-driven, robust, and scalable tools.
- Implement and support foundational elements of the game’s audio ecosystem and tools.
- Work with design and engineering leads to define the team’s future vision for audio tooling and workflows.
- Model the team’s best practices for tools architecture and implementation.
- Advocate for the technical vision for upcoming and existing tools with other disciplines.
- Provide documentation and training on new audio tools and workflows to internal customers.
- Mentor junior engineers as the team scales.
Requirements
- 4+ years of gameplay development experience in a C-style game engine (Unreal Engine, Unity, etc.).
- 3+ years working on audio tools and features.
- Proficiency in C++.
- Direct experience with audio middleware such as Wwise, FMOD, Unreal Audio.
- Experience in Unreal Engine.
- BS in Computer Science or proven understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
