Base Salary
$203k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create front-end solutions that deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Translate customer insights into mockups, wireframes, and proof-of-concept code.
- Lead a small team in solving complex programming and design issues.
- Contribute to project design and architecture and execute web, mobile, and front-end software development.
- Provide technical direction by analyzing, evaluating, and prioritizing technical issues and features.
- Identify opportunities to enhance software applications with AI technology.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers on software engineering, AI-enabled applications, and technical development.
- Launch AI integrations in production and evaluate their impact using appropriate performance and user-satisfaction metrics.
Requirements
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with software design and architecture processes and the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience consuming or creating web services with REST or SOAP.
- Ability to explain complex technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Expertise with unit testing and Test Driven Development.
- Familiarity with highly scalable and available web applications.
- Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large-scale consumer-facing web or mobile applications.
- Experience with open-source technologies and, preferably, Big Data or emerging front-end technologies.
- Proficiency in building functional AI models using techniques such as prompting and AutoML.
- Ability to monitor production model performance and make adjustments to optimize results.
- In-depth understanding of AI integration and ability to lead integration efforts while coaching junior engineers.
- Ability to collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and software engineers.
