Base Salary
$262k - $354k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and technical direction across iOS, Android, GraphQL, WebView, and front-end platforms.
- Drive mobile app performance, quality, security, maintainability, startup time, rendering, and crash-free session standards.
- Guide the strategy for interoperability between native iOS/Android foundations and embedded web experiences.
- Lead significant technology initiatives and horizontal client architecture layers end to end.
- Design scalable, resilient, and adaptive systems across platforms.
- Own GraphQL schema design, performance, evolution, and client integration patterns.
- Partner with product management, design, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Align stakeholders across teams and business units to drive execution and remove blockers.
- Coach and mentor senior and staff-level engineers and advise leadership on team structure and engineering practices.
- Provide guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and engineering process improvements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing systems or software for large business environments.
- 7+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems, platforms, or business applications.
- Proven expertise in native iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI and Android development using Kotlin.
- Experience architecting and maintaining WebView-based hybrid experiences that bridge native and web environments.
- Deep front-end web development expertise with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React.
- Strong hands-on experience with GraphQL schema design, resolvers, and client-side integration.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Track record of influencing technical strategy across teams and business units and driving results across globally distributed teams.
- Strong mentoring skills and the ability to develop technical leaders and shape engineering culture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across employees, customers, and management.
- Ability to make independent decisions in ambiguous situations.
- AWS or GCP cloud experience is a plus.
