Base Salary
$100k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build responsive, data-driven user interfaces and reusable components for investment workflows.
- Develop end-to-end features spanning UI, APIs, backend services, and investment databases.
- Integrate third-party products and ensure application performance, scalability, usability, and maintainability.
- Partner with portfolio management, operations, research, and product stakeholders to translate requirements into user-centered solutions.
- Improve investment workflows by replacing legacy or manual processes and incorporating iterative user feedback.
- Deploy applications to AWS and contribute to architecture, UI platform evolution, testing, code inspections, systems analysis, and production support.
Requirements
- Minimum of eight years of related work experience, including at least five years of software engineering experience building investment, wealth management, or financial applications.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Strong front-end development experience with modern frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Experience building full-stack applications with Java or Python backends.
- Understanding of investment workflows and personas including portfolio managers, trading operations, and research analysts.
- Understanding of API design and integration and experience with cloud-native systems, preferably AWS.
- Ability to contribute as an individual contributor while guiding design decisions.
